1. Voluntary Finance Assistant
Jubilee Debt Campaign is seeking a Voluntary Finance Assistant to work 1 day pw (Wednesday or Friday), providing support to the Senior Administration and Finance Officer through maintaining finance records using Sage Line 50 v. 12, Access 97 and Excel and by performing related administrative tasks. Duties may include:

- Create new donor (customer) and supplier records on Sage and Access
- Enter donations received onto Sage
- Process invoices: enter invoices onto Sage, pass them to relevant staff for authorisation, write cheques and process the payments on Sage
- Bank cheques - set up banking spreadsheets in Excel, fill out paying in slips and send to bank
- Process new standing order forms received by recording on Access and Sage, sending forms to bank
- Process donations received by CAF or other charity cheque
- Send thank you letters to donors
- Enter payments made from petty cash onto Sage from paper records
- Reconcile bank accounts on Sage
- Assist with the preparation of finance reports for the Board of trustees, using Sage and Excel
- Assist with Gift Aid claims
- File finance papers and conduct periodic checks to ensure completeness of finance records
- Assist with audit preparation (December year end)

Familiarity with Sage Line 50 is an essential requirement for this role.

This is an unpaid position but travel (within London Travelcard zones) and lunch expenses will be paid.

2. Honorary Treasurer
Jubilee Debt Campaign, which exists to alleviate global poverty by focussing on a key cause of poverty: poor country debt, needs a new Honorary Treasurer to join its Board of Trustees.

You will need financial and administrative experience and ability. You need, too, the time to attend four afternoon Board meetings per year, as well as to make occasional visits to the Secretariat near Old Street in London.
