ABOUT THE FORUM
On 11 October 2008, as part of 50 days of global action against poverty, the UK economic justice networks are holding a forum to explore the changing environment for global poverty campaigning.Uniting experts and activists, we will discuss how rocketing fuel prices, financial chaos and the looming climate catastrophe are impacting upon poverty and the campaign to end it.
We will debate, through a mixture of discussion and skills-based workshops, how we can build on existing work to build a lasting movement to end global poverty.
This event is supported by Jubilee Debt Campaign, Trade Justice Movement, Stop Aids Campaign, UK Aid Network, Stamp Out Poverty, Stop Climate Chaos, Global Call to Action Against Poverty and BOND.
