Journey to Justice is taking place at the International Convention Centre in Birmingham.

This page contains details of how to get there, as well as of coaches that are being organised to get to the event.

By Train


There are three train stations in Birmingham. 

Birmingham New Street - this is the main station in Birmingham with services arriving from all parts of the country. It is a short walk (15 mins) from the ICC.

Birmingham Moor Street and Birmingham Snow Hill - these stations serve London Marylebone, Warwick and High Wycombe (Chiltern Trains), and various local trains. Both are about 15 mins walk from the ICC.


By Bus/Coach

National Express and other major coach operators terminate at Digbeth Coach Station in the South of the City.  This is approximately a 25 min walk or short taxi ride from the ICC.

Some of our local groups are organising coaches to Birmingham for the day from various parts of the country. The people listed below are happy for you to contact them to book a place on their coach.

LEEDS/HARROGATE
TIDAL (Trade Injustice and Debt Action Leeds) is putting on a coach from Leeds. With tickets at a bargain £15 standard price, or £13 for under-16s, and the opportunity to travel with dozens of other activists from all around the region, the TIDAL coach really is the transport of choice to get to this fantastic event! To find out more and book your seat email info@leedstidal.org. Spaces are limited, so we strongly recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.

The coach will be leaving at 8.50am from oustide the Library in Harrogate, and then passing through central Leeds.

MALVERN

The coach will be leaving the Splash Car Park in Priory Road, Great Malvern, at 12.30 pm. They have also arranged pick ups in Powick and Worcester. The cost of the coach is £5.

Until 1st May Event tickets and coach travel can be booked through the Wetherall’s, and after 1st May any unreserved coach seats may be booked by those who have arranged their own ticket to the event.

NEWCASTLE AND THE NORTH EAST
North East England: Coaches will run from Newcastle, calling at Durham and Scotch Corner. Return fare £20; with concessions for children and students. For further information, contact David Golding (d.w.golding@ncl.ac.uk), or go to:

RICHMOND/WEST LONDON
There will be a coach leaving from beside St Margarets Twickenham Station. The coach is hoping to leave at 8.15am. There will also be a pick-up at Ealing Common (on the District and Piccadilly lines).

ST ALBANS/NORTH LONDON
The coach is leaving from Vineyard Church, 10A Brick Knoll Park, St Albans at 9.30am and the cost is £12 per person. To book tickets please call 01727 812765.

St Albans is a 20 minute train ride from St Pancras.


By Car

The ICC is easily accessible by car with easy motorway links, including the M5, M6, M40 and M42. There is extensive parking in the ICC car parks and free Sunday parking in pay and display areas on streets within a short walk.
