Thank you for sending an email to your MP on vulture funds. We have a range of other activities we’d like you to undertake as the bill passes through parliament.

 - Write a personal letter to your MP. MPs often say that personal letters have far more impact than emails. You can find your MPs details at www.writetothem.com and address the letter to: House of Commons, London, SW1A 0AA. Use the email as a template but add your own thoughts and views – and fact which you can find on our website.

- Ask for a meeting with your MP in your constituency surgery particularly if you know your MP does not support the bill. Find out when your MP holds constituency surgeries by calling them or looking on their website. Make an appointment. You can help prepare for the meeting with our Responding to your MP section and by downloading our ‘Business Case’.

- If you’re part of a faith group, school or other local group, hold a service or meeting on vultures as the bill passes through parliament. Invite your MP to make sure they know how much support the bill has. We’re happy to give more advice on organising local events and you can find local materials online.

- Help your MP get publicity for their support. We can provide model press releases and letters to local newspapers.
