LATEST NEWS:
Pleckgate High School recently held One World Week, a Celebration of International Cultures, from 11th - 15th February, 2008. This week raised awareness of global poverty, debt and FairTrade, and every subject department was involved!
de Stafford School
- had a Year 7 Community Day with three other schools, with debt and poverty as key issues (planning for another such day has already begun)
- used the Drop It! video in lessons about global debt and Fairtrade
Pleckgate High School
- discussed global debt with other schools via video-link through the Motivate Project
St John's CE(A) Primary School
- set up a social justice display area in the school
- organised a school-wide assembly
- discussed global debt issues in classroom lessons
St Joseph's School
- contacted their local MP
- included debt issues in PSHCE lessons
