What:
Bring a bell, alarm clock or your voice to call time on global greed
Why:
Join us on Monday evening for a noise demo for economic justice, as Gordon Brown gives a major foreign policy speech to City bankers.
The speech comes days ahead of a controversial G20 summit in Washington DC to discuss solutions to the global financial crisis - but the world's poorest countries are not even around the table.
Jubilee Debt Campaign is joining forces with organisations campaigning on trade, aid and tax justice to demand Gordon Brown pushes for fundamental reform of the global economic system.
We believe it's time to call time on this system of greed. But world leaders seem determined just to patch it up and make sure it keeps limping on until the next disaster. Campaigners are mobilising around the world to ensure there is real change in the global economy and not just a stitch-up between powerful countries.
The world's poor must not pay for the failures of big business!
