This set of resources for assemblies includes a very visual presentation aimed at younger learners, stories, songs, and reflections. It has been prepared by Jubilee Debt Campaign for use in Birmingham Primary Schools in May 2008, marking the tenth anniversary of the 70,000-strong chain around Birmingham. However, it can of course be used after this date, and by schools elsewhere, with minor modifications. |

This inspiring film is now available on DVD! Aimed at young people, it explains the debt crisis and what individuals can do to help. It uses footage from the Birmingham Young People's Parliament and material from indebted poor countries to tackle the issue of third world debt in a fast-moving and dynamic way that challenges the viewer to take action. |
