Running a stall gives you a visible presence and a chance to recruit and fundraise, as well as to enlist support for the campaign.

Jubilee Debt Campaign is a coalition made up of over 180 groups and national organisations. Local groups form the backbone of our campaigning across the country. They play a critical role in raising public awareness, lobbying MPs and government, and generally keeping debt campaigning alive. You can set up a group with any number of members or can even register an existing group, for example a local Oxfam group, as a member of the coalition and campaign on debt alongside your other work.

To let your local press know you are holding an event/ organising a debt action, and pursuade them to cover the event. A press release can also be used if there is news on debt or if you want to make your views (or that of your group) known on an issue.
