Details: A highly interactive role play encouraging students to consider the dilemmas faced by governments of countries trying to manage debt repayments and boost economic development. Could be a great introduction to the problems of global debt for a group of participants with little prior knowledge.

Players working in teams experience the balance of power between nations and why some countries are heavily in debt. Prompts for follow-up summary and discussion included. Adaptable for use with primary school children through to older secondary students.
