Biggest ever JDC team runs Great North Run

20 September 2011

Over 50 amazing runners took part in the Great North Run on Sunday to raise money for Jubilee Debt Campaign.

Jubilee Debt Campaign's team, organised in association with North East CALL TO ACTION (formerly Make Poverty History NE), was our biggest ever, numbering about 55, many of them staff and students at Newcastle University.

The conditions were almost ideal - mainly fine but cool. Congratulations to everyone who took part!

NB. It's not too late to sponsor the runners! You can do so via their fundraising pages on JustGiving (scroll to the bottom).
