About the event

As the G8 gets ready to meet in the UK, Jubilee Debt Campaign, London Roots Collective and others will host The Spark, a space to ask what social and economic justice would look like, and how to get there.
 
There will be a wide range of in depth trainings and workshops happening throughout the week on topics like creating your own media, basic economics, community and youth organising, DIY film and radio, strategising for social change, and more. Book your place for these on the website >>
 
Every evening there will be films and discussion on key issues, from debt and austerity, to food sovereignty, militarism, peace and climate. Then on Saturday 15 June we’ll bring it all together at University of London Union, with a day to look at action in the year ahead, and a free gig in the evening.
