Debtocracy: Organise a film screening
Downloaded by millions of citizens in Greece and across Europe, ‘Debtocracy’ is spreading like wildfire.
Debtocracy gives an insight into how the financial crisis happened, how it affects people throughout the world and what we can do about it. The film seeks the causes of the debt crisis and proposes solutions – solutions hidden by the governments of Europe and the dominant media.
Jubilee Debt Campaign has been organising screenings of Debtocracy around the country - in student unions, workplaces and local communities. We can provide a copy of the film (for free) and some top quality speakers to come and discuss the film and the global debt crisis.
The film is a great way to link the economic crisis, global poverty and the cuts here in Europe. The version with the best English subtitles is on YouTube here:

If you’d like to show it or to get more information contact Jonathan Stevenson at Jubilee Debt Campaign: or call 020 7324 4726.
The screenings are organised with help from Research on Money and Finance, War on Want, People & Planet, and World Development Movement.
